Biography
My undergraduate college work was in psychology, which led to a B.S. in psychology from Manhattan College. I hold two masters degrees - a psychology M.A. from Hunter College and an M.Phil from City University. I trained as a psychoanalyst at Blanton-Peale Graduate Institute in New York City, where I subsequently taught. I am licensed in N.Y. as a psychoanalyst (LP) and Mental Health Counselor (LMHC). While working at Blanton-Peale, I have also been in clinical practice at Grace Counseling Center in Madison, New Jersey for the last 17 years.
I have conducted numerous workshops on stress reduction, parenting, dream interpretation, and grief counseling among others for churches, synagogues and schools through the tri-state area. On top of leading these workshops, I have produced Webinars for Marble-Collegiate Church in New York City. I served as the Clinical Consult for Fordham's Spriitual Director's program and have participated as a presenter in conferences in my field. Currently I serve on the boards of N.A.A.P. and A.B.A.P.
